Σερ Άρθουρ Κόναν Ντόιλ (Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle) (22 Μαιου 1859 – 7 Ιουλίου 1930)

Άγγλος γιατρός, γνωστός ως συγγραφέας σειράς αστυνομικών μυθιστορημάτων . Είναι ο πνευματικός πατέρας του Σέρλοκ Χολμς, που τον πρωτοπαρουσίασε στο έργο του "Σπουδή στο κόκκινο". Έργα του: "Οι περιπέτειες του Σέρλοκ Χολμς", "Το σημείο των τεσσάρων", "Ο σκύλος του Μπάσκερβιλ" κ.ά.
